A delegation of Shopkeepers Union Mahil Kalan led by President Gagan Saran called on SDM Sahib Barnala regarding draw of new shops of Block Mahil Kalan.
The Shopkeepers Union delegation brought to the notice of SDM Sahib that on 25th February, 2020, an advertisement was placed in the newspaper by the Panchayat Samiti Mahil Kalan for the construction of shops on the land owned by them and leased through lucky draw. The money was deposited in the name of Security Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Mahil Kalan.
But now, nine months later, the shopkeepers are still in limbo.
In this regard SDM Sahib took the delegation into confidence and immediately spoke to BDPO Mahil Kalan on phone and issued guidelines.
SDM Sahib immediately directed BDPO Mahil Kalan to expedite the process of drawing lots for these new shops.
SDM Sahib Barnala assured all the shopkeepers unions that I would take action to draw these new shops as soon as possible.
On behalf of the entire shopkeeper community President Gagan Saran, Prince Arora, Pankaj Bansal, Pradeep Verma, Jaspal Verma, Hardeep Singh Behla and other shopkeepers were present on the occasion.
