As per the directions of Mr. Sandeep Goel P.PS Senior Police, Captain Barnala ji Dr. Police checks suspects Sajan alias Om Prakash, son of Om Prakash, Badal son of Om Prakash Vasian of Mirch Mandi Rajpura, Shyamanand son of Om Prakash of Khanna, Sunny son of Bania, Bania son of Jeet Ram Vasian of Bagichi Basti Raikot. They were walking in a tempo in a suspicious condition. During the investigation, 8.5 kg of stolen copper was recovered from their possession and their background check was found to be criminal. Out of which 3 cases of theft of transformer have been registered against Shyam Nand at Police Station Malamud and 4 cases of theft against Sajan at Police Station Payal and Rajpura and 2 cases against Mr. Badal at Police Station Rajpura.
The gang was on the lookout for transfers and thefts in the Mahilkal area.
