Moga January 6 (Kuldeep Gohal) National level athlete Mandeep Singh Panesar, a resident of village Rauke Kalan, who has won many gold, silver and bronze medals in various state and national level competitions, today held a press conference in support of Kisan Sangharsh. Three gold and one silver medal were sent back to Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani by courier. It may be recalled that he had won these medals in the state level athletics competitions organized by Reliance Federation at Patiala in the years 2018 and 2019.
In this regard he held a press conference at Sarbatt Da Bhala Charitable Trust Moga today, during which he informed that he is doing Master Degree Course in Food Technology at Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College Shri Anandpur Sahib and due to online paper running he is still Although he could not personally join the Kisan Sangharsh till today but today he is feeling satisfaction by returning the medals won with his hard work and showing solidarity with the Kisan Sangharsh.
He said that the government has come up with these black laws to benefit the corporate houses and the pressure of these corporate houses is not working to withdraw the laws, hence it is imperative to boycott these houses. By porting Geo’s SIM and boycotting Reliance’s products, the people of the country are sending a message that if governments and corporate houses understand it soon, it will be for the good of the country and the common man. He said that not only farmers but every family would be affected due to these black laws and the rates of what is available to us cheaply today would skyrocket.
Therefore, every citizen should stand with the farmer in this struggle. He said that Asia Record holder of shot put Tejinder Singh Toor and Wrestler Kartar Singh have registered their protest by withdrawing their President’s Award and Moga District NGOs by withdrawing their district and state level awards. He is contributing to the peasant movement by returning these medals. After the press conference, he returned the medal and letter of protest to the Reliance Federation by courier.
